2021 50 Month Savagnin

Back in 2021 we put a single barrel of Willow Grove Savagnin aside to make a Jura inspired wine. Fifty months later the wine is ready. There’s a lot of people out there who have been waiting and asking for this wine.
Clear and golden in the glass, it opens with aromas of toasted walnut, preserved lemon, chamomile, and some fresh sea mist. Rich and glossy on the palate, with layered flavours of dried stone fruit, saline minerality, and citrus peel, all driven by piercing acidity. A nod to Jura, but unmistakably Gippsland.
