2024 Warragul Sauvignon Blanc - Sémillon

The Fifth release of this wine and probably the best. 
From the south facing, unirrigated vines of the Warragul Vineyard. Fermented and aged in barrels with 10% new. 
Barrels occasionally stirred in spring.
Full malolactic fermentation through spring and summer.
The warmer 2024 vintage has made a wine that has the classic expressive characteristics of this cuvée but with extra weight, texture, generosity and precision. 
Chamomile, lime and layers of herbs on the nose. The palate has beeswax, pineapple, candied lemon peel and Stony minerality. It's dense, richly textured but fresh and delicious.
